Afrisaff.com is a supplier of only the highest quality Saffron (Crocus Sativus) bulbs to supply the avid home grower, small-scale and commercial farmer in South Africa. The cultivation of Saffron is ideally suited to the South African climate and requires much less water compared to traditionally grown crops. Saffron, also known as "Red Gold", and for good reason as it is the most expensive and delicate spice in the world. With the demand for Saffron which far exceeds the supply, an opportunity exists for South Africa to become a significant producer and exporter of Saffron to the global markets.
