
Pre-Payment Conditions
Deposit or pre-payment conditions
The pre-payment option (Deposit Option) facility is available for our Wholesale range only. Our wholesale range starts from 2500 Crocus bulbs. Orders of 2500 bulbs or more qualify for the pre-payment option. The products which you can order with a 25% pre-payment can be found in the Saffron Crocus "Wholesale" category.
With these products, you have the possibility to choose between payment of the entire amount at once or making a pre-payment of 25% of the order value
The balance of the order, in other words, the remaining 75% (SEVENTY-FIVE PERCENT) of the value of the order must be paid by no later than 1 December 2022. Afrisaff PTY (LTD) will provide an invoice for the remaining balance (75%) of the purchase amount as agreed.
How does ordering by means of deposit work?

Start by choosing the bulb size and bulb quantity that you intend to buy under "Organic bulbs" or "Non-organic bulbs" in the "Wholesale" category.

Choose the "25% Deposit Option" button, this will launch the checkout form. The form will display 25% of the total amount payable in the right-hand corner of the form. You are required to pay this amount.

Complete your personal details and select continue.

On the next page, you are informed of the payment details, choose Pay now to continue the payment process.

The secure payment form is displayed where you may choose your payment option, once you have selected your preferred payment method, enter your payment details and choose "Pay now".

After completing the payment, you will be redirected to our webshop and you will receive the order confirmation by email.

If you have chosen to pay the payment by bank transfer (EFT Secure), we will send you the invoice with the payment details via email.

Upon receipt of the deposit payment, you will receive a confirmation by email as well as the invoice for the payment of the remaining amount to be paid no later than 1 December 2022.

The balance can be paid by bank transfer but could also be paid online.

You will receive an invoice for the outstanding amount via email, from the email you will receive you can view and pay the invoice by selecting the "Pay invoice" on the invoice form.

Upon receipt of the full payment, you will receive another confirmation by email and your order will be sent to you as soon as possible after January 15th, 2023.
Terms and conditions for the pre-payment option

Pre-payments must be paid directly online or if you opt for a bank transfer, within 7 days of the order date.

Since the orders for saffron bulbs are processed and shipped in order of arrival, your order will not be registered until the 25% deposit has been received.

The balance must be paid online or by bank transfer before 1 December 2022.

Customers who opted for the pre-payment option and who have not settled the final 75% amount by the due date will not have their orders processed and thus not shipped from our European growers to South Africa until the final settlement amount has been paid.

In the event that the balance (75%) payment has not been completed by the time our orders are shipped and the customer still wishes to complete the transaction may do so depending on the availability of the ordered size and quantity of the bulbs. This will however incur a separate shipping handling fee (Euro 125) and the cost for a separate phytosanitary certificate (Euro 175) will be added to the final remaining amount.

Once the pre-payment amount has been paid, customers still have the option to cancel their order at any time before shipping commences.

Paid deposits will be refunded within 10 working days.

In case you would like to have your ordered saffron bulbs to be delivered on a specific date after 15 January 2022, please also notify us by email.
